[BR-DE-1] Eine Rechnung (INVOICE) muss Angaben zu "PAYMENT INSTRUCTIONS" (BG-16) enthalten.

What this rule requires

The rule requires that every invoice or credit note contains the payment instructions group BG-16, described in the message as "PAYMENT INSTRUCTIONS". In UBL, this is represented by the cac:PaymentMeans element; in CII, by ram:SpecifiedTradeSettlementPaymentMeans under ram:ApplicableHeaderTradeSettlement. A document fails this fatal rule when that element is absent.

How to fix

Add the required payment instructions element to the invoice. In UBL, include cac:PaymentMeans under the document root cac:Invoice or cn:CreditNote; in CII, include ram:SpecifiedTradeSettlementPaymentMeans under rsm:SupplyChainTradeTransaction/ram:ApplicableHeaderTradeSettlement. The rule only checks for the presence of this element, so no child fields need to be populated to satisfy it.
