[BR-DE-3] Das Element "Seller city" (BT-37) muss übermittelt werden.

What this rule requires

BR-DE-3 requires the seller's city (BT-37) to be present in the seller postal address. The test checks that cbc:CityName (UBL) or ram:CityName (CII) exists and contains text that is not empty or only whitespace. As a fatal rule, a document with this element missing, empty, or containing only whitespace is invalid.

How to fix

Add or populate the seller city in the supplier postal address. In UBL, ensure /ubl:Invoice/cac:AccountingSupplierParty/cac:Party/cac:PostalAddress/cbc:CityName (or the corresponding /cn:CreditNote/.../cbc:CityName) contains the seller's city as non-whitespace text. In CII, populate /rsm:CrossIndustryInvoice/rsm:SupplyChainTradeTransaction/ram:ApplicableHeaderTradeAgreement/ram:SellerTradeParty/ram:PostalTradeAddress/ram:CityName. Check the system mapping for the seller city field so it is not left empty.
