Original rule text
[BR-DEC-14]-The allowed maximum number of decimals for the Invoice total amount with VAT (BT-112) is 2.
string-length(substring-after(ram:GrandTotalAmount,'.'))<=2What this rule requires
The rule requires that the Invoice total amount with VAT (BT-112) in cbc:TaxInclusiveAmount (UBL) or ram:GrandTotalAmount (CII) contains at most two digits after the decimal point. The test counts the characters following the first '.' in the amount; if there are more than two, the document fails validation with severity fatal. A value without a decimal point passes the test.
How to fix
Set the invoice total amount with VAT to a value with at most two decimal places, for example 1234.56. If the source system produces more than two decimals for this total, round or format it to two decimals before generating the XML.
